It was subsequently ascertained that, in accordance with section 10 of tie Lunacy Act, under which ;a new application had been made, two doctors who had not.been previously concerned. with the case, and who had recently examined accused, gave certificates certifying beyond doubt that accused was of unsound mind. No further. proceedings will be taken with the original complaint, which has now been superseded by the application direct to the Superintendent of the Hospital for the Insane, on 22 July 1918 at Perth, Western Australia, Australia.6 |
